The Proposal!

Her : A girl who believed in dreams and of knights in shining armors but the world smashed it making her much more cynic about dreams, people and love.

Him: A guy who has had a past of the like of a roller coster ride. A person with a genuine heart and yet a stonned one when it comes to love.

Then they meet to prove that the life could be beautiful and love does exist around them. After a friendship of years , certain coincidences brought them closer at just the appropriate time. The time was appropriate because a delay of a bit would have taken them to different paths.

Him- Never been more crazily and madly in love in his life. So crazy in life so as to let everyone know of that "ONE'. The family, friends and everyone had never seen him with just one person on his mind all the time.

Her- Never been loved so crazily. Was still wary if he is really as good as it sounds. She still was wary if he will come all the way to take her away for ever. Then the interactions with his parents, his siblings, his family, his friends made her feel no one can be more crazy to risk the image when all he wants was play.

Then a night of dreams followed when he came to make her dream a reality. The environment was the most romantic with the sun setting down at the edge of the beach. She waiting to dine at the seaset restaurant and then came him behind her to surprise her. She turned back to see a knight on his knees with the most beautiful red roses coupled with her favourite white orchids.

Her- What's on your mind?
Him- You as always!

Her-Why are on your knees?
Him-Just to ask you the most important question of my life!

Her- And that is?
Him- Will you accept these beautiful flowers which are waiting to be adorned by you?

Her-So that's the most important question of your life?
Him-Ahan! You think it can't be?

Her- Stop playing games ....Do u get it?
Him-Ok. Ok.......Accept the flowers and then you will know!

As She accepted the flowers , She saw a most beautiful gift wrapped box lost inside those flowers.

Her-What's This?
Him - Open It!

She kept the flowers aside and opened it! As it opened her eyes sparkled with happiness. It had the most gorgeous Diamond ring embedded in platinum. And there was this guy on the knees holding her hands as she looked down.

Him- Will You Marry Me? Will you become my life forever?

She smiled with surprise, ecstacy and happiness.

Him-Tell me?
Her- Offcourse yes.

And hugged him in a way as if two people have turned into one.

Him-Then give me your finger.

As she pulled out her ring finger. He adorned with the most beautiful ring of her life.



Her-Now get up and hug me.
Him -Just a moment.

He got up embracing her from behind and closing her eyes and kissing her cheeks and whispering in her ears.

Him- I Love You Honey.
Her-I Love You too.

And there came out the specially designed diamond pendent with their photograph embedded to embrace her neck.

Her-Now what is this?
Him -Open your eyes.

As she opened her eyes. A photographer standing opposite captured the moment to make it forever and her surprised happiness had no bounds.

Her-You are mad.
Him- Totally for you.

And they giglled together to embrace each other and still the moment as the most memorable one in their life journey which was to follow henceforth.

The Wrong Decision!

As the frustrated and tired Anne sat down to write a resolved email to end all that existed between them-last night still glared in front of her.

She was still stunned and shocked at the indecent remarks passed by the colleagues of someone whom she considered her better half in his presence. And what was more shocking was his remarks “I understand what you felt but then my revolt in front of my seniors would have cost me my job”

She had driven back half way through the party realizing the truth.

She knew she couldn’t any longer stay with someone who prioritizes money more than he considers the respect of his loved one.

She shed one last tear over her stupidity of being with a wrong guy for so long.

Saturday 9: I Call Your Name!

1. If you could have named yourself, which name would you have chosen, and why? Well i have loved the name Ashi since i have heard it ages back. But then loads of my friends call me by this name so i guess no changes.

2. If you could relive a year in your life, what age would it be, and why? I guess it has to be when i was 14. The JNU basketball days, The manocha days, The funs at school. Everything was just so perfect.

3. If you could go back and change one friendship in your past, who would it have been, and why? Well there are lots of them but i would so want to change it with my ex-best friend.

4. If you could have dated one person in your past that you did not date, who would it be, and why? i guess i always ended up dating the ones i wanted to. I would have loved to have date my first crush but then the friendship is something i love so maybe not.

6. If you had the opportunity to live in another country, which one would it be, and why? If you choose NOT to live in another country, why do you want to stay in your current country? I guess Zurich, Switzerland as that's my dream destination but then i couldn't survive in any other country but mine because India Rocks :-)

7. If you could choose your dream job, what would it be, and why? Might have been the glamour industry....Fame always attracts me!

8. If you could wish a wish and it be guaranteed to come true (other than riches) what would it be, and why? To be finally settled peacefully in all realms of my life.

9. If you could meet two blogger friends (you may choose more, if you wish) who would they be? i would prefer to go for three- Firstly Rashi and Shweta. And then i would love to meet A.D. would be interesting to meet someone who is so like me :)

Sunday Stealing: One Long Meme (Part One)!

1. The phone rings. Who will it to be? My shona(Bestie) or Bhai.

2. When shopping at the grocery store, do you return your cart? Nopee...i leave it at the parking lot.

3. In a social setting, are you more of a talker or a listener? Talker :P

4. Do you take compliments well? Who wouldn't take compliments well. They are meant to flatter one right?

5. Do you play Sudoku? Used to but now hardly but i still play when i m in the mood.

6. If abandoned alone in the wilderness, would you survive? I doubt so. i am highly depedent on my family.

7. Did you ever go to camp as a kid? Nope.

8. What was your favorite game as a kid? I guess boogle and scrabble.

9. If a sexy person was pursuing you, but you knew she was married, would you? Nope :P i am straight so no she business :P and if it was a he still a BIG NO. I highly respect the institution of marriage.

10. Could you date someone with different religious beliefs than you? I once did. But it works out hardly. Sigh. So no such risk in future!

11. Do you like to pursue or be pursued? Pursued ....who doesn't want to be loved and flattered :P

12. Use three words to describe yourself? Creative,Cheerful and Rebellious.

13. Do any songs make you cry? Most of the emotional songs make me cry. Even the ones associated with some memory make me do so.

14. Are you continuing your education? Obviously. I intend to complete my doctorate one day.Touchwood!

15. Do you know how to shoot a gun? Nope. never got the chance :P

17. How often do you read books? Quite often i am a big book worm :D

18. Do you think more about the past, present or future? Definitely more about the future.

19. What is your favorite children’s book? I used to twinkle, champak, archies as a kid ....and even Enid Blyton and Hardy Boys.

20.What color are your eyes? Black.

21. How tall are you? 5'2''.

22. Where is your dream house located? Somewhere near the beach . It could be Mumbai, Toronto or even LA. Though ultimately i love being in India :)

23. If your house was on fire, what would be the first thing you grabbed? My Cell Phone :P

24. When was the last time you were at Olive Garden? Never been there but a friend promised to take me there first time i arrive in NJ so lets see :P

25. Where was the furthest place you traveled today? To the neighbourhood market. I was working from home today!
